Like so many successful businesses, Tracker CNC began as a desire to solve an everyday problem. Back in 1990 Ken Glendinning, President of Tracker CNC needed some plate cut but couldn’t find anyone to do it at the price he wanted. So he built his own cutting table. Ken didn’t have a background in metal cutting but that was to his advantage. He has an uncanny ability to think outside the box and find better ways. His first machine, for instance, could pause and reverse itself--a new feature at the time. Ken is inspired by what’s new and he’s constantly adding the latest technologies to the Tracker CNC machines of today.
Reliability and ease of use will always be in demand, as Tracker CNC of London, Ontario knows. They’ve carved out a thriving business making light industrial cutting machines that are delivered “foolproof— everything you need and nothing you don’t,” as the company likes to say. Tracker CNC Counts on Thermadyne Automation Tracker credits a big part of its success to Thermadyne Automation. “We’ve done well because we’ve partnered with the best people in the industry, like Thermadyne Automation,” says Tracker’s sales director.
Tracker relies on Thermadyne Automation for both products and service. “Their products work awesome,” says a Tracker CNC representative. “Among the equipment we specify is the SL100 Torch because it’s dead nuts reliable. And we count on Thermadyne Automation for service because the fewer problems we encounter, the faster we get new business. They take care of all our customer issues. From a business standpoint we are very, very happy. Our relationship with Thermadyne Automation works great.”
